Kelime kelime açıklama:
- have (hav): sahip olmak. Örnek: I have a small room. = Küçük bir odam var.
- can (kan): yapabilmek. Örnek: I can answer now. = Şimdi cevap verebilirim.
- need (niid): ihtiyaç duymak. Örnek: I need a short answer. = Kısa bir cevaba ihtiyacım var.
- room (ruum): oda / alan / boş yer. Örnek: There is room for one more person. = Bir kişi daha için yer var.
- answer (an-ser): cevap. Örnek: Please answer the question. = Lütfen soruyu cevapla.

Okunuşlar: have = hav, can = kan, need = niid, room = ruum, answer = an-ser. Okunuşlar yaklaşıktır.

Cümle cümle açıklama:
1) Have you got time? (hav yoo got taym) = Vaktin var mı?
Kullanım: British English’te have got çok yaygındır. Anlamı have ile aynıdır.
2) I can answer now. (ay kan an-ser naw) = Şimdi cevap verebilirim.
Kullanım: can + yalın fiil kullanılır; burada answer fiili to almaz.
3) We need one more chair.
4) Answer with a short sentence. (an-ser with uh short sen-tens) = Kısa bir cümleyle cevap ver.
Kullanım: Bu, sınıfta çok faydalı bir yönergedir.
5) I have room for one question. (ay hav room for wuhn kwes-chun) = Bir soru için yerim var.
Kullanım: room burada “boş alan” demektir, oda anlamı da olabilir.

Doğal kullanım notları:
- can’den sonra to gelmez: can answer, can go, can help değil; can to answer yanlış.
- have got sorularda çok kullanılır: Have you got time?
- room kelimesi bazen fiziksel oda, bazen alan demektir.

Yaygın hata notları:
- Yanlış: I can to answer now. Doğru: I can answer now.
- Yanlış: Have you got answer? Doğru: Have you got an answer?
- Yanlış: I have room for one question? Doğru cümle biçimi: I have room for one question.

- have (хэв): иметь. I have a small room.
Пример: I can answer now.
I need a short answer.
There is room for one more person.
Пример: Please answer the question.

Чтение примерно: have = хэв, can = кэн, need = нид, room = рум, answer = энсэр.

1) Have you got time?
2) I can answer now.
3) We need one more chair.
4) Answer with a short sentence.
5) I have room for one question.

- После can не ставим to: правильно can answer, неправильно can to answer.
- Have got

I can to answer now. I can answer now.
- Неправильно: Have you got answer? Have you got an answer?

Ripassiamo rapidamente l’idea delle risposte brevi e aggiungiamo due parole molto utili: have (hav) e can (kan).

- have (hav): avere. Esempio: I have a small room. = Ho una stanza piccola.
- can (kan): poter / saper fare. Esempio: I can answer now. = Posso rispondere adesso.

Pronuncia approssimativa: have = hav, can = kan, need = niid, room = rum, answer = àn-suer.

Spiegazione frase per frase:

Uso: have got è molto comune nell’inglese britannico e significa come have.
