Trump claims he is 'far healthier' than Harris

Former President Trump in a series of social media posts early Tuesday morning claimed Vice President Harris’s seasonal allergies were “deeply serious” and asserted he was “far healthier” than she and other former presidents, amid growing pressure on Trump to release a detailed medical report.

Trump on Truth Social said he had already provided medical updates, “including quite recently,” an apparent reference to the updates he released after he was wounded in an assassination attempt in July.

Trump last released a letter from his personal physician last November that offered limited entails about his most recent exam.

Harris releases ‘excellent’ medical report after scrutiny of Biden, Trump fitness

“I have just seen Kamala’s Report, and it is not good,” Trump wrote, citing Harris’s doctor’s assessment that the vice president deals with seasonal allergies and urticaria, which is more commonly known as hives.

“These are deeply serious conditions that clearly impact her functioning. Maybe that is why she can’t answer even the simplest of questions asked by 60 Minutes, and others. What is this all about? I don’t have these problems,” Trump wrote.

Trump, 78, claimed he is “far healthier” than Harris, 59, as well as President Biden, former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton and former President George W. Bush.

“Also, I am far too busy campaigning to take time, from the 22 days left, as I am using every hour, of every day, campaigning, because we have to take back our Country from the Radical Left people that are destroying it,” he added.

Harris on Saturday released her medical history, which said she is in “excellent health” and has the physical and mental resilience required to be president if elected in November.

Trump campaign swipes at Harris following medical report release

The vice president and her campaign have in the days since repeatedly called for Trump to put out more information about his medical condition. They have argued his lack of transparency, paired with his avoidance of a second debate and an interview with “60 Minutes” this month, suggest he has something to hide from the public.

Trump would be 82 at the conclusion of a potential second term. Former President Biden is 81 and would have been 86 at the end of a second term if he had stayed in the race and won reelection. Biden's age was a major issue earlier this year as Republicans questioned his fitness for office, and Democrats eventually pressured him to bow out.

“Americans should get to see what ailments Trump suffers from, and if they are worse than seasonal allergies, which he thinks are ‘dangerous,’” Harris campaign spokesperson Ian Sams posted on X. “He could clear that up pretty easily by just releasing his medical records.”
