**German A1 Grammar & Vocabulary #088**
**Thema:** Possessive articles with family members: **mein / dein / sein / ihr**
### Kurzüberblick
In this lesson, you learn how to say **my, your, his, her** in simple German. These words come before a noun:
- **mein** = my
- **dein** = your
- **sein** = his / its
- **ihr** = her / their
Today we use them with family words.
### Wiederholung von vorher
From the last lessons, remember:
- **das** is used with neuter nouns.
- **von + article** can show possession.
- Now we can say possession more directly with possessive articles.
### 5 Wörter
1. **mein** — reading: **mine** — meaning: **my**
