### 2) New words
1. **une pomme** — reading: **ün pom** — an apple
Usage note: use for a simple food choice.
2. **un gâteau** — reading: **œ̃ gato** — a cake
Usage note: a basic word for a sweet snack.
3. **sucré** — reading: **sy-kre** — sweet
