Parola per parola:
- when (wen) = quando
- start (stahrt) = iniziare
- finish (fi-nish) = finire
- early (er-lee) = presto / in anticipo
- today (toh-day) = oggi

Queste parole sono molto utili. when chiede il momento, start indica l’inizio di un’azione, finish la fine, early significa prima dell’orario normale, e today parla del giorno attuale.

- today = toh-day

Spiegazione frase per frase:
1) When do you start?
Pronuncia: wen doo yoo stahrt
Significato: Quando inizi?
Uso: si usa per chiedere l’orario di inizio di un’azione. In A1 è importante do nella domanda.

2) I start at eight.
Pronuncia: ai stahrt at ayt
Significato: Inizio alle otto.
Uso: at si usa con l’orario.

3) We finish at five.
Pronuncia: wee fi-nish at faiv
Significato: Finiremo alle cinque.
