Konu çok basit: zaman sormak için when, yer sormak için where, kısa cevaplarda is, zaman belirtmek için at ve hata anlatmak için wrong kullanırız. Önceki derslerdeki fikirleri biraz hatırlayıp şimdi yeni bir adım atıyoruz.

Kelime kelime açıklama:
- when (wen) = ne zaman
- where (wer) = nerede
- is (iz) = -dir / -dır, “olmak” fiilinin şimdiki biçimi
- at (at) = -de/-da, saat belirtirken de kullanılır
- wrong (rong) = yanlış

Telaffuz / okunuş:
- when = wen
- where = wer
- is = iz
- at = at
- wrong = rong

Cümle cümle açıklama:
1) When is the lesson? (wen iz thuh les-uhn) = Ders ne zaman? Burada when zaman sorar.
2) Where is the class? (wer iz thuh klas) = Sınıf nerede? Burada where yer sorar.
3) It is at 9. (it iz at nayn) = Saat 9’da. at saat için kullanılır.
4) My sentence is wrong. (mai sen-tuhns iz rong) = Cümlem yanlış. Kendi hatanı söylemek için çok yararlıdır.
