Topic: time words and simple reply fixes.
Goal: practice asking about time, replying with short answers, and fixing sentence order.
Quick review from previous lessons:
- We used simple question words like where, who, and what.
- We practiced this / that and simple correction patterns.
- Today we add time words for forum replies.
New words:
1) when = wen = at what time
2) now = nau = at this moment
3) later = ley-ter = after some time
4) before = bi-for = earlier than
5) after = af-ter = following time
Word usage notes:
- when: ask about time.
- now: use for the present moment.
- later: use for a time after now.
- before: use for the first step.
- after: use for the next step.
Example sentences:
1) When do you reply?
Reading: wen do yu ri-plai
Meaning: When do you answer?
Use: Ask about the time of a reply.
2) I reply now.
Reading: ai ri-plai nau
Meaning: I answer at this moment.
Use: Short, natural present-time reply.
3) Please check before you post.
Reading: pliiz chek bi-for yu post
Meaning: Please look at it before you send it.
Use: Friendly correction for forum writing.
4) I write the answer after the question.
Reading: ai rait dhi an-ser af-ter dhi kwes-chin
