1) he = male person
Reading: hee
Example: He works every day.
Usage note: Use he for one male person.
2) she = female person
Reading: shee
Example: She lives with her family.
Usage note: Use she for one female person.
3) it = thing / animal
Reading: it
Example: It rains in spring.
Usage note: Use it for a thing, an animal, or the weather.
4) works = has a job / functions
Reading: wurks
Example: My father works in a shop.
Usage note: Use works with he, she, and it.

Example: She lives near school.
