In questa mini lezione di grammatica impari una regola molto importante dell’inglese A1: il singolare e il plurale dei nomi. Cioè, come parlare di una cosa sola o di più cose. Nell’inglese semplice, molti nomi al plurale prendono -s.

Nota: this (dis) si usa per una cosa vicina.

4) These pens are new. (diz penz ar niu)
Significato: Queste penne sono nuove.
Nota: these (diz) si usa per più cose vicine.

5) The table is small. (dhe tei-bol is smol)
Significato: Il tavolo è piccolo.
Nota: the (dhe) spesso indica una cosa specifica.

Note di uso naturale:
- Usa il singolare per una sola cosa: book, pen, table.
- Usa il plurale per più cose: books, pens.
- Nell’inglese semplice, molti plurali prendono solo -s.
- this + is va spesso con il singolare.
- these + are va spesso con il plurale.

Errori comuni:
- Non dimenticare la -s nel plurale: books, pens.
- Non usare this con books; meglio these books.
- Non usare is con these; al plurale si usa are.
- pens si pronuncia penz, ma si scrive pens.
