- Today we move to more useful home and study words.
Words:
1) door — reading: dor — meaning: an entrance you open and close
2) desk — reading: desk — meaning: a table for work or study
3) pen — reading: pen — meaning: a tool for writing
4) cupboard — reading: KUB-erd — meaning: a place for keeping things
5) key — reading: kee — meaning: a small metal object for a lock
Sentences:
1) The door is open. — reading: dhuh dor iz oh-puhn
2) My desk is small. — reading: mai desk iz smol
3) I write with a pen. — reading: ai rait widh uh pen
4) The key is on the desk. — reading: dhuh kee iz on dhuh desk
5) The cupboard is closed. — reading: dhuh kub-erd iz klozd
Usage notes:
