Watch live: Trump gives remarks at Economic Club in Chicago

Former President Trump is giving remarks in Chicago on Tuesday afternoon focused on his economic agenda.

The event at the Economic Club of Chicago, hosted by Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait, comes as the race for the White House enters the final three-week stretch.

The club also extended an invitation to Vice President Harris, but it is unclear if she will accept.

The Hill/Decision Desk HQ's polling index shows Harris with a narrow lead over Trump nationally, — 49.8 percent to 46.9 percent.

The former president's remarks are expected to begin at 12 p.m. EDT.
