More than 40 reported killed as Helene causes wide destruction and flooding

More than 40 people were reported killed in several states as Hurricane Helene caused widespread destruction and flooding. The flooding emergency continued as Helene moved north from Florida as a tropical storm. Numerous water rescues were reported. NBC News' Tom Llamas reports.
