Mika Brzezinski knocks 'aging bulls‑‑‑ artist' Trump over Detroit speech

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski railed against former President Trump following his speech at the Detroit Economic Club this week.

"I mean, that’s like an epic weave that he talks about, but his weaves aren’t brilliant. You know what he's doing? He is getting through the moment as an aging bulls‑‑‑ artist, OK? He is just getting through the moment," Brzezinski said Friday morning on "Morning Joe."

Trump, during his remarks in Detroit a day earlier, knocked Vice President Harris over her economic policies, complained about the price of groceries and insulted Michigan's largest city.

“Insulting Detroit to its face ... there is racism in there," Brzezinski said. "There's always a tinge of racism in everything he says.”

"Let me tell you something: There is something wrong with people who can watch that and think the alternative, Kamala Harris, isn’t more articulate, more prepared, more experienced, more able to, and when I say articulate, that means can actually ... deliver a message to the American people on a certain policy. You know she can," she continued. "If you can’t believe it, and this is your choice, you’re lying to yourself."

The hosts comments were first highlighted by Mediaite.

Brzezinski is one of several hosts on MSNBC that is frequently critical of Trump, who in recent weeks has suggested broadcast and cable news outlets that are critical of him be investigated by the federal government or have their broadcast licenses revoked.
