Vice President Harris leads former President Trump by 4 points in a new Wisconsin poll released on Wednesday.

The new Marquette Law School Poll found that Harris, the Democratic nominee, has 52 percent support among registered voters in Wisconsin while the ex-president was at 48 percent. The spread was the same with likely voters, with Harris getting 52 percent compared to Trump’s 48 percent.

When former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was inserted in the matchup, Harris stood at 48 percent with registered voters. Trump had 44 percent backing while Kennedy was at 3 percent.

In the multi-candidate matchup among likely voters, Harris had a 5-point advantage over Trump, getting 49 percent to the ex-president’s 44 percent. Kennedy received 3 percent.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled last week that Kennedy will remain on the state’s ballot in November.

The previous iteration of the poll, which was released in early September, showed Harris and Trump having the exact same level of support among registered and likely voters in the state, with the Democratic nominee being ahead by 4 points.

Around 50 percent of the survey’s respondents said that Harris will “definitely or probably” triumph in November. Some 39 percent sided with Trump while 11 percent said they did not know.

The poll found that enthusiasm for voting has spiked with 67 percent of respondents saying they are “very enthusiastic” about casting the ballot. In early September, the figure stood at 63 percent. The largest increase in enthusiasm was among independents, with 50 percent saying they were “very enthusiastic,” presenting a near 20-point jump from early September when it was at 31 percent.

Harris had a 7-point lead over Trump in a late September poll. The Democratic nominee got 53 percent support to Trump’s 46 percent among likely voters.

The vice president, for now, has a 1.1 percent lead, 49.1 percent to 48 percent, over the ex-president, according to the latest The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls.

The Marquette Law School Poll was conducted Sept. 18-26. The pollsters interviewed 882 Wisconsin registered voters and 798 likely voters. The margin of error was the same for both at 4.4 percentage points.
